American LaFrance

Freightliner bought what was left of American LaFrance in 1995 and began to rebuild the fire truck manufacturing company.  The American LaFrance Eagle chassis was introduced in 1996 and has been produced, along with other apparatus on custom and commercial chassis since.

American LaFrance has always been a part of the American fire service and at this time looks like it will continue to be for years to come.
